To get your pupils engaged and excited about problem-solving, whether they are already adept at maths or need a little more encouragement, this freebie download consists of a selection of problem-solving cards from our Problem-solving Strategies and Skills boxes. The cards cover three strands of mathematics and promote appropriate problem-solving processes and strategies. There are six boxes in total, one for every year of primary (Year 1-6 and P2-P7). They can be used at any time, allowing for easy integration in daily lesson plans, and are certain to boost students' mathematical abilities.
