Prim-Ed Publishing (Ireland and UK) and its sister company R.I.C. Publications (Australia, New Zealand and South Africa), have been named Global Educational Resource Company 2022 by the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
Their core focus is creating high-quality educational resources for teachers and they have crafted comprehensive teaching resources for all year groups, that cover many different activity types and learning styles.
Falling under the R.I.C umbrella, Prim-Ed Publishing is one of Ireland’s top providers of educational resources across each area of the primary school curriculum. The Wexford company produces educational resources of the highest quality that satisfy the needs of teachers and pupils alike.
The company has been recognised with Business All-Star Accreditation for its outstanding contribution to the education sector.Business All-Star Accreditation is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The Accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Responding to today’s announcement, Sean Sheehan, Sales Director at Prim-Ed Publishing says, “The team here at Prim-Ed Publishing are delighted to receive the Business All-Star accreditation for the second year in a row. Providing high-quality educational resources is at the core of what we do, and to receive such a prestigious global Accreditation for this is immensely gratifying. The team continues to grow, within Ireland and across the globe, striving to provide educational resources covering all subject areas. Prim-Ed resources are written by practicing classroom teachers to ensure they are aligned with the curriculum and satisfy the needs of teachers and pupils alike. Completing each stage of the production process within the organisation is achieved with a collaborative effort, by a team of dedicated people, around the world.”
He adds, “Prim-Ed Publishing would also like to take this opportunity to thank the principals, teachers, SNAs, school support staff, retailers, parents, guardians, and all of those who have supported us for over 25 years in educational publishing. We appreciate the recognition of our hard work by the AIBF, and look towards the future with the ambition of continuing to provide classrooms with educational resources tailored to their needs.”
Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board Kieran Ring, said in support of the announcement: “Prim-Ed Publishing has achieved AIBF 2022 AIBF Global Educational Resource Company 2022 Accreditation, in recognition of the company’s outstanding contribution to the education sector. Furthermore, we wish to recognise Prim-Ed Publishing's conduct in the areas of trust, commitment, performance and customer centricity. Prim-Ed Publishing is hereby included in the AIBF register of Irish business excellence for the second year in a row.”
Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation Kapil Khanna said the accreditation, which is now held by over 500 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
He said: “We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
The All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) is an autonomous national accreditation body tasked with enterprise development and the promotion of Best-in-Class in Irish business.
The Foundation actively engages and supports its network through peer dialogue, collaboration, mentoring and enterprise development activities. Companies are qualified for accreditation by completing an enterprise audit and are identified by their use of the AIBF’s Business All-Star Marque.
