The St Helens TSA would like to offer the chance for all schools to be trained in using the 'Teacher's Moderation Toolkit'. The writing toolkit is currently being used by schools to support moderation and standardisation. It supports teachers in all year groups to cross moderate (against national standards) woth tracher guidance notes and supports pupils to identify features of a good piece of writing at all stages.
The resource has been quality assured by a team of English Advisors, English SLEs and Prim-Ed Publishing to ensure it is of a high standard.
Head teachers and English SLs from across the NW region have requested St Helens TSA hold several events in a range of localities:

Monday 24th June from 9:30am-3:30pm at The Village Hotel, Knowsley.
Target audience: Y1 and Y2 teachers, KS1 phase leaders, English Leads.
Tuesday 25th June from 9:30am-3:30pm at DW Stadium,Wigan
Tagret audience: Y3 and Y4 teachers, LKS2 phase leaders, English Leads.
Wednesday 26th June from 9:30am-3:30pm at Formby Hall Hotal, Sefton.
Target audience: Y5 and Y6 teachers, UKS2 phase leaders, English Leads
