First of all this book clearly sets out the different skills required to successfully complete comprehensions. I have split the skills into half term targets and we work towards them and use the assessments that come with the resource. This is an excellent resource and really helps prepare the children to understand text in more depth.

    Paul Hayes, Teacher

As the book comes in sections that are tailored to separate strands of comprehension tested by reading papers, it has been brilliant to use with children struggling with specific areas.

    Sharon, Teacher

Excellent resource, used them to help my students with inference questions.

    Amma Opoku, Tutor

Have all the books and we use throughput school. These are excellent.

    Helen James, Class Teacher

These books are excellent for teaching comprehension strategies and break each skill down into manageable steps.

Louise Aldridge, Deputy Head Teacher and Inclusion Manager

This is a great resource which gives you the opportunity to teach specific strategies before allowing the children to have a go at using the taught strategy on their own. There is also a test paper for each strategy taught. The texts are interesting and engaging for the children.

    Leslie, Teacher
